Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Ports
Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Ports conveniently combine the ability to view fluid levels and extract oil samples. They are ideal for bearing housings and other non-pressurized applications. Liquid Level Gauge Sample Ports include a Pitot Tube for static sampling, which provides safe and representative oil sampling from the "turbulent zone."

Protective Dust Cap
The protective dust cap is connected to the Pitot Tube Oil Sample Ports with a heavy brass chain to prevent loss.

The top caps on the Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Ports are available in multiple options.
Vented Top Cap
The vented cap is the standard cap on the Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Ports.
Filter Cap
A porous filter is installed in the vent cap to minimize contamination. To order a Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Port with a filter cap, add a "F" as a suffix to the part number.
Closed System Top Cap
For closed system application, Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Ports can be ordered with a top cap that has a 1/8" NPT port for installing a pressure balancing line to the reservoir. Contamination from water and particulate is reduced and equipment life is prolonged. To order a Liquid Level Gauge Oil Sample Port with the closed system top cap, add the suffix "C" to the part number.

Sample Extraction
The collection process is simple, fast, and accurate way of sampling hydraulic, lubricating, and circulating systems. Access to systems is done through the use of a mating sample port adapter. The Oil Sample Port Adapter screws onto the sample port. Oil samples can then be drawn from the system and placed into a clean sampling bottle for analysis.
Note: Color on oil sample port must be the same as oil sample port adapter to extract a sample (ie. black to black (carbon steel), gold to silver (stainless steel)).
